Where Healing Begins with Care
🫀 Eat in moderation.
🫀 Follow the eating habits of the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم — eat in moderation and with thankfulness.
🫀 Avoid eating again until the previous meal has been digested. Avoid overeating and excessive physical exertion after meals.
🫀 Avoid foods high in cholesterol and saturated fats. Use white meat (chicken or fish) instead of red meat, and avoid egg yolks and organ meats.
🫀 Use low-fat dairy: prefer skimmed milk, low-fat yogurt, low-fat lassi, tea without sugar, and unsweetened almond/soy milk.
🫀 For cooking oil, use small quantities of canola, sunflower, or olive oil. Avoid ghee and banaspati.
🫀 Use low-fat or skimmed milk for tea and coffee.
🫀 Avoid sugary drinks and carbonated beverages.
🫀 Consume seasonal fruits and vegetables.
🫀 Avoid all types of fast food, bakery items, fried and processed foods.
🫀 Diabetic patients should keep their fasting blood sugar below 110 mg/dl and post-meal sugar below 140 mg/dl.
🫀 Ideal blood pressure should be 130/80 mmHg.
🫀 Cholesterol levels should be: LDL < 70 mg/dl, TG < 150 mg/dl.
🫀 Engage in at least 30 minutes of brisk walking daily to maintain a healthy weight (BMI ≤ 25).
🫀 Know your Body Mass Index (BMI); consult your doctor to calculate it.
🫀 Never take any medicine recommended by a non-medical person; always consult a qualified doctor.
🫀 Get 6 to 8 hours of quality sleep daily; lack of sleep can harm your heart.
🫀 Avoid unnecessary medications; they can also cause heart problems.
