Nowshera Medical College Achieves ISO (9001:2015) Certification!

Nowshera Medical College, Nowshera, has reached a significant milestone by attaining the ISO (9001:2015) Quality Management System (QMS) Certification, becoming the second public sector Medical College in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to achieve this international recognition.

A delegation from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), led by Mr. Muhammad Akbar Khan (ISO Lead Auditor) conducted a thorough evaluation of the college's academic and administrative departments. The visiting team was accompanied by the senior administrative staff of Nowshera Medical College Nowshera.

Following a comprehensive audit, the ISO delegation formally recommended Nowshera Medical College for ISO (9001:2015) certification. The recommendation letter was presented to the Prof. Dr. Anwar Khan Wazir (Dean of Nowshera Medical College, Nowshera) in the presence of the Prof.Dr. Shah Nawaz (Vice Dean Nowshera Medical College, Nowshera) and other members of the administrative team.

This prestigious certification reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to quality assurance, institutional excellence, and adherence to international best practices in governance, education, and administration.

Nowshera Medical College extends its sincere appreciation to all faculty, staff, and stakeholders whose dedication and efforts have contributed to this achievement.

This accomplishment marks a new chapter in the College’s journey toward continuous improvement and global standards of excellence.

قاضی حسین احمد میڈیکل کمپلیکس ایم ٹی آئی نوشہرہ کی انتظامیہ نے عیدالاضحی کے دوران ہسپتال کے مختلف شعبہ جات کے حوالے سے تفصیلی رپورٹ جاری کردی۔

عیدالاضحی کے تین دنوں کے دوران ہسپتال میں ایمرجنسی سروسز کے ساتھ ساتھ گائنی، آرتھوپیڈک، کارڈیالوجی، آئ سی یو، سرجری، ای این ٹی، پیڈذ میڈیسن، پیڈذ سرجری، میڈیکل، ڈینٹل, آئ, ریڈیولوجی, ڈائلیسس, گیسٹرو، اینستیزیا اور پیتھالوجی ڈپارٹمنٹس مکمل طور پر فعال تھے۔

ایکسیڈنٹ اینڈ ایمرجنسی ڈپارٹمنٹ میں عیدالاضحی کے دوران 2621 مریضوں کا معائنہ کیا گیا جن میں 141 مریض داخل کیے گئے,
1786 لیبارٹری ٹیسٹ کیے گئے،146 الٹرا ساؤنڈ کیے گئے،299 ایکسرے کیے گئے،158 ای سی جی کی گئی،35 سٹی سکین کیے گئے۔

مین آپریشن تھیٹر میں پیڈز سرجری کے 3 آپریشن ہوئے اور ساتھ ہی سرجیکل کے دو آپریشن اور گائنی کے 14 سی سیکشن ہوئے.
ٹراما سنٹر میں 462 مریضوں کا معائنہ ہوا اور ساتھ ہی طبی امداد دی گئی ۔
گائنی وارڈ میں 63 نارمل ڈیلیوری اور 14 سی سیکشن ہوے۔
ڈائلیسس یونٹ میں 48 مریضوں کے سیشنز کئے گے ۔

مزید برآں صحت سہولت کاؤنٹر عید کے تیسرے دن سے فعال رہا اور تمام متعلقہ وارڈ اور سٹاف ہر قسم کے ہنگامی حالات کے لیے مکمل طور پر تیار رہے ۔

قاضی حسین احمد میڈیکل کمپلیکس ایم ٹی آئی نوشہرہ کے میڈیکل گیس سیکشن میں آکسیجن سیلنڈر بھرنے کے دوران لیکج ہوئی جس سے معمولی نوعیت کا دھماکہ ہوا جسکی وجہ سے ہسپتال کے سٹاف جوکہ آکسیجن بھرنے میں مصروف تھے وہ زخمی ہوئے جوکہ ابھی بلکل ٹھیک ہیں ۔

ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر کامران حکیم خان کی ہدایات پر ایمرجنسی بنیادوں پر ضروری اقدامات کیے گئے اور انکوائری کمیٹی بھی تشکیل دی گئی جس نے رپورٹ مرتب کردی۔

یہاں یہ بات ضروری ہے کہ ہسپتال میں معمول کے کام جاری ہیں اور مزکورہ میڈیکل گیس سیکشن بھی بلکل معمول کے مطابق کام کررہا ہے۔

قاضی حسین احمد میڈیکل کمپلیکس ایم ٹی آئی نوشہرہ کے ہسپتال ڈائریکٹر ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر کامران حکیم خان ،نوشہرہ میڈیکل کالج کے ڈین پروفیسر ڈاکٹر انور خان وزیر اور میڈیکل ڈائریکٹر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سردار سہیل افسر نے آگ بجھانے کے اپریشن مکمل ہونے کے بعد اپنے ایڈمنسٹریشن سٹاف کے ہمراہ پورے ہسپتال کا تفصیلی دورہ کیا اور بحالی کے عمل کو مزید تیز کرنے پر زور دیا۔ ہسپتال دورہ مکمل ہونے کے بعد تمام متعلقہ سٹاف کے ہمراہ ایک ایمرجنسی میٹنگ منعقد کی گئی جس میں ہسپتال کی بحالی کے لیے تمام پہلوؤں پر نظر ڈالی گئی اور تمام سروسز کی جلد بحالی پر زور دیا گیا۔

مزکورہ میٹینگ کے بعد ہسپتال انتظامیہ نے متعدد ہدایات دی:

۱) انکوائری کمیٹی تشکیل دی اور چھوبیس گھنٹوں میں تفصیلی رپورٹ طلب کی۔

۲) او پی ڈی سروسز کھلی رہینگی۔

۳) ایمرجنسی اور ٹراما سروسز جزوی طور پر فعال کر دی گئی۔

۴) وقتی طور پر ہسپتال میں مریضوں کے داخلے کی سہولت میسر نہیں ہوگی اور ساتھ ہی بلڈ بینک بھی بند ہوگا جو کہ جلد از جلد بحال کر دیا جائے گا۔

Professor Dr. Zahid Irfan (Head of the Biochemistry Department) Nowshera Medical College, along with his wife, has passed away in a traffic accident, while their daughter sustained severe injuries.
Professor Dr. Zahid Marwat was returning home after completing his duty at Qazi Medical Complex when their car met with an accident near the Risalpur.
Professor Dr. Zahid Marwat was an honest and dedicated professional who fulfilled his responsibilities with utmost sincerity.
