Our Board Members of the KWA Pakistan attended the 38th Convocation of the Aga Khan University in Pakistan, joining the AKU community in celebrating a significant milestone.

The convocation marked the graduation of 461 students across 18 degree programmes and a historic moment with the formal installation of Princess Zahra Aga Khan as AKU’s first Pro-Chancellor. In this role, Princess Zahra will support the University’s ongoing efforts to advance knowledge and improve quality of life worldwide.

In his message, AKU’s Chancellor, His Highness the Aga Khan, reminded graduates that both they and the University carry “an extraordinary responsibility and an extraordinary opportunity — to create, to disseminate, and to apply knowledge in ways that improve the quality of human life.”

This week, the Khuwaja Welfare Association, in collaboration with a family from Chicago, USA, successfully installed a Solar Agricultural Water Project in Village Pandhi Mangariyo, District Sanghar, Sindh.

By harnessing clean solar energy, this project now provides the local rural community with sustainable access to clean water—supporting both daily household needs and agricultural livelihoods.

On the passing of our beloved Mawlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini, His Highness the Aga Khan IV. His visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to humanity have shaped countless lives, including ours at Khuwaja Welfare Association.

Thanks to his guidance and blessings, we established KWA, dedicated to uplifting our communities and serving those in need. His inspiring visit to Jungshahi in 1960 left an indelible mark on our hearts, instilling in us the values of service, compassion, and progress.

As we honor his extraordinary legacy, we remain steadfast in our mission to continue the work he inspired us to do—for the betterment of society and for generations to come.
