Spina Bifida

It happens during the first 28 days of pregnancy, often before you know you’re pregnant.

Even though there is no known cause, spina bifida can be avoided with some simple measures to follow:

Take a vitamin with 400 mcg (0.4 mg) folic acid every day pre-pregnancy which could reduce the incidence by up to 75%.
Do not take any prescription and over-the-counter drugs, herbal and dietary supplements and vitamins without medical supervision.
Treat any fevers immediately with Paracetamol and inform your birth provider.
Avoid using hot tubs or saunas that overheat your body.
If you have diabetes or obesity, be sure to manage these conditions before you get pregnant.

Pre-pregnancy planning and counseling with your birth provider is very important for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

اہم اطلاع۔۔
اج کل آنکھوں کی ایک بیماری آشوبِ چشم conjuctivits or pink eye عام ہے۔۔۔جس میں مریض کی آنکھ گلابی یا لال ہو جاتی ہے اور ساتھ میں خارش ہونا اور آنکھوں میں پانی انا۔۔اگر وقت پر اسے نہ روکا گیا تو مریض کو موتیا ہو سکتا
احتیاطی تدابیر۔۔
1،،یہ بیماری ایک شخص سے دوسرے شخص میں منتقل ہو سکتی۔۔اس لیے ایک دوسرے کو ہاتھ ملانے سے پرہیز کریں۔۔آنکھوں میں خارش نہ کریں۔۔اور صفائی کا خیال رکھیں۔۔
2۔۔علاج۔۔
اس مرض میں انٹیالرجک ڈراپ کا استعمال کریں۔۔
مثلاً۔۔۔اولپاٹ olopat eye drops۔۔۔یاFML eye drops یا جو نیچے دیے گئے ہیں ان میں سے استعمال کریں۔۔دس سے پندرہ دن۔۔۔

پورے پاکستان میں یہ وائرس انفیکشن بہت تیزی سے پھیل رہا ہے جس میں چھوٹے بچے سب سے زیادہ متاثر ہو رہے ہیں برائے کرم احتیاط کیجئے انفیکشن اگر ہوجائے تو آنکھوں کو ملنے سے گریز کریں ورنہ زخم گہرا ہوجائے گا فوراً ماہر امراض چشم سے رابطہ کریں جزاک ﷲ ۔

متاثرہ شخص اپنی ذاتی استعمال کی اشیاء کو الگ کر لے تاکہ کوئی دوسرا شخص ان چیزوں کو استعمال نہ کرے
جیسے تولیہ، رومال وغیرہ

I feel humbled for my appointment to represent the Government of Punjab as Member, Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.
I am grateful to Allah Almighty for all His blessings that He has bestowed upon me and I pray that the Almighty grant me the determination and prudence to carry out my responsibilities in this role with honour and unabated impartiality.
