Exactly 12 years ago this week two teenagers were brutally killed by a rabid mob in Sialkot. While the Anti Terrorism Court had swiftly sentenced seven of the accused to death and the other five to life imprisonment. Our prestigious Supreme Court later overturned the ruling and reduced everyone’s sentence to a 10 year imprisonment, meaning the men who lynched, hung and mutilated two teenage boys in broad daylight, in front of a crowd, on camera, are either already or will be out on the streets again this year and there’s nothing you or I or the poor parents of Mughees and Muneeb Butt can do about it. Because its our fault we were born in Pakistan where the justice system and human life are both a joke. RIP Brothers. Hum Sharminda Hain !!

Long 7 hour operation.
Then...
A newborn baby boy on the arms of his dead mother. And next to him the doctor is crying.

This mother is seriously ill. Because of which could not have a child! After waiting for 11 years, he took a big risk to have a child. Maybe the child will not survive the mother!

After that, the doctor gave his all and tried for 7 hours, saying that it is not possible to save both the baby and the mother together.
Finally the doctor decided - ask the baby's mother, what she wants to do? Save the child, or your own life?

The mother agreed to give light to the child after dying herself. After just two minutes, she closed her eyes with a smile for the rest of her life. Mother's entire life succumbed to the selfish life of two minutes as a mother. Yes, this is the mother's breed.
More than 1,000 mothers die in childbirth every day around the world.

May Allah give every child the knowledge to give the respect of the mother. (Amen)

Sometimes I just sit and ponder to myself, how blessed I am to be loved by millions of people around the world. It makes me humble to know I am blessed with this gift and through humility, I practice gratitude.

I found my inner gift and purpose early in my life and I knew I had this burning desire to learn and teach medical sciences so I decided to share my passion with the world through my videos and it brings me joy and pleasure to know my medical lectures to some extent have changed lives of millions of medicos around the world.

It took me 40 years of blood and sweat and consistent hard work to get where I am today so no it wasn't just "sheer luck".

I always tell my students. There is no shortcut to success. I believe we are all blessed with a unique gift that makes us special and it's our job to find that gift and share it with the world. The way I share mine is through my video lectures.

Stop looking for get rich quick schemes or some ultra safe kept secret short to success because I am telling you there isn't.

Lasting success only comes through sheer hard work, resilience, perseverance, and consistency. Legends u see on TV today all have a hard work story that goes behind a decade.

So just focus on your passion and what inspires you and continue the hunt for your inner gift until you find it....because when you do success will just come as a byproduct of what makes you happy. Stay happy and don't forget to smile.

چارسدہ جارہا تھا تو ایک آئسکریم دکان کے سامنے مدرسے کے بچوں کو قطار میں دیکھا ،گاڑی روکنے پر معلوم کیا تو ایک بچے نے بتایا کہ مفتی صاحب نے مدرسے کے سارے بچوں کو آئس کریم کھلانے کیلے لائیں ہیں ۔ انتہائی خوشی ہوئی کہ مدرسے کے منتظم اپنے مدرسے کے بچوں کے ساتھ ایسا شفقت و محبت رکھتا ہے ۔ کتنے ڈسپلن کے ساتھ لائن میں کھڑے ہوکر آئس کریم کیلے بچے انتظار کررہے ہیں .
