ایک گاؤں میں مولوی صاحب رہتے تھے۔مولوی صاحب کا کوئی دوسرا ذریعہ آمدن نہ تھا گاؤں میں رہتے ہو گزارہ بہت مشکل تھا ۔اسی گاؤں میں کوئی نیک دل جاگیردار بھی رہتا تھا تو اس نے زمین کا ایک ٹکڑا مولوی صاحب کو ہدیہ کیا کہ ویسے بھی سارا دن آپ فارغ ہوتےہیں تو کھیتی باڑی کریں تاکہ گزارہ اچھا ہو۔

مولوی صاحب نے گندم کاشت کرلی اور جب فصل ہری بھری ہوگئی تو بڑی خوشی ہوتی تھی دیکھ کر اسلئے دن کا اکثر وقت وہ کھیت میں ہی بیٹھے رہتےاور فصل دیکھ دیکھ کر خوش ہوتے۔ لیکن اچانک ایک ناگہانی مصیبت نے ان کو آن گھیرا …گاؤں کے ایک آوارہ گدھے نے کھیت کی راہ دیکھ لی … گدھا روزانہ کھیت میں چرنے لگا۔

مولوی صاحب نے پہلے تو چھوٹے موٹے صدقے دیئے لیکن گدھا منع نہیں ہوا۔پھر اس نے مختلف سورتیں پڑھ پڑھ کر پھونکنا شروع کردیا لیکن گدھا پھر بھی ٹس سے مس نہیں ہوا۔ایک دن پریشان حال بیٹھے گدھے کو فصل اجاڑتے دیکھ رہے تھے کہ ادھر سے ایک کسان کا گزر ہوا۔ گدھے کو چرتا دیکھ کر کسان نے پوچھا ..
مولوی صاحب ….آپ عجیب آدمی ہیں گدھا فصل تباہ کر رہا ہے اور آپ ہاتھ پر ہاتھ دھرے بیٹھے ہیں؟

مولوی صاحب نے عرض کیا کہ جناب ہاتھ پر ہاتھ دھرے کہاں بیٹھا ہوں؟
ابھی تک ایک مرغی اور بکری کے بچے کا صدقہ دے چکا ہوں اور کل سے آدھا قرآن شریف بھی پڑھ کر پھونک چکا ہوں لیکن گدھا ہٹتا نہیں ہے مجھے تو یہ بھی گدھا کافر لگتا ہے، جس پر کوئی شے اثر نہیں کرتی ۔…
کسان کے ہاتھ میں ایک ڈنڈا تھا وہ سیدھا گدھے کے پاس گیا اور گدھے کو دوچار ڈنڈے کس کر مارے تو گدھا کسی ہرن کی طرح چوکڑیاں بھرتا ہوا بھاگ کھڑا ہوا۔….

کسان نے کھیت سے باہر آکر ڈنڈا مولوی صاحب کے حوالے کرتے ہوئے کہا …..
قبلہ مولوی صاحب قرآن گدھوں کو بھگانے کیلئے نازل نہیں کیا گیا ۔ گدھوں کو بھگانے کیلئے اللہ تعالی نے یہ ڈنڈا بھیجا ہے۔

ہم پاکستانی بھی عجیب ہجوم ہیں۔ہمارے گدھے حکمران کروڑوں نہیں بلکہ اربوں لوٹے چلے جاتے ہیں اور ہم صرف دعاؤں اور صدقات و خیرات کے بل بوتے پہ ان گدھوں سے چھٹکارا حاصل کرنا چاہتے ہیں ۔

جب تک یہ ہجوم، ایک قوم بن کر ان لٹیروں سے نجات کیلئے ڈنڈا استعمال نہیں کرے گی

یہ گدھے ملک و قوم کے تمام وسائل یونہی لوٹتے رہینگے۔‎
