Polio remains a significant public health challenge in Pakistan, one of the last two countries in the world where the disease is still endemic (the other being Afghanistan). Despite significant progress over the years, sporadic outbreaks persist due to several barriers, including misinformation, vaccine hesitancy, security concerns in certain regions, and logistical challenges in reaching remote areas.
