Foundations of Research – Online Course by the Student Research Committee (SRC), KMC in collaboration with Research Cell KMC Peshawar.

The Student Research Committee (SRC) of Khyber Medical College successfully organized an online “Foundations of Research” course, designed to equip medical students with the essential knowledge and skills required to undertake high-quality research.

The course spanned six interactive webinars, each focusing on a key stage in the research process—from selecting a research topic to manuscript preparation and publication. Every session was moderated by dedicated SRC members, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience.

Speakers for the course included mentors and distinguished alumni of SRC KMC, who shared their expertise, practical tips, and personal experiences to guide participants through the often-complex research journey.

By addressing every critical step of the research process in a structured and accessible format, this initiative provided participants with a strong foundation to begin their own research projects and contribute meaningfully to the medical literature.
For the first time ever, we live-streamed our Foundations of Research sessions, allowing participants from across the country to join for free. The recordings of all six webinars are now available on our very own YouTube channel.
