Seminar on “Women Empowerment through Digital Literacy” Held at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU) organized an impactful and high-level seminar on “Women Empowerment through Digital Literacy,” featuring Dr. Khoula Ismail, Executive Director of SMILE Health Centre & IIMIT, as the esteemed keynote speaker. The event brought together a diverse audience of students, faculty leaders, and academic professionals committed to advancing women’s role in the digital era.
During her keynote address, Dr. Khoula Ismail delivered a comprehensive and thought-provoking session highlighting the transformative power of digital literacy in enabling women to fully participate in the modern knowledge economy. She emphasized that digital competencies are no longer optional—they are essential for academic success, entrepreneurship, employability, financial inclusion, and social advancement.
