*KPSA Delegation Meets with KP Healthcare Commission to Discuss Crucial Issues.
A delegation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Society of Anaesthesia (KPSA), led by Chairman Dr. Fazal Wadud, met with the KP Healthcare Commission to discuss vital issues affecting the anaesthesia specialty in the province.
The delegation, which included General Secretary Dr. Alla-ud-din, Senior Vice President Dr. Salman Malik, and spokesperson Dr. Khalid, Dr Farzoq, Dr shareef, Dr Abdul Rehman and Dr Arshad held a productive meeting with the commission to address pressing concerns.
The discussions focused on the following key issues:
1. MSDS Rules and Regulations:
The KPSA delegation emphasized the need for the implementation of MSDS rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for anaesthetists.
2. Pre-op Assessment in Public and Private Hospitals:
The delegation stressed the importance of pre-operative assessment in all hospitals, with anaesthetist fees to be standardized. This move aims to improve patient care and recognize the critical role of anaesthetists in the healthcare system.
3. Collaboration with Government and Health Department:
The KP Healthcare Commission assured KPSA of its support in a meeting with SSP and health department to address these issues.
4. Streamlining Anaesthesia Specialty:
KPSA reaffirmed its commitment to working tirelessly for the betterment of anaesthesia doctors across the province, striving to elevate the specialty to its rightful place.
