📢 Notification – Ramadan Duty Timings

MTI–Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), Peshawar, has announced revised office timings during the Holy Month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.

🕘 General Shift (Elective & Administrative Staff)
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM – 01:00 PM

🕑 IBP Services: 02:00 PM onwards

All evening/night duties and emergency services will continue as per the existing schedule to ensure uninterrupted patient care and smooth hospital operations.

These timings will be effective from 1st Ramadan 1447 AH until further orders.

پالیسی بورڈ کی ٹیم کا MTI-حیات آباد میڈیکل کمپلیکس (HMC) کا سرکاری دورہ

پالیسی بورڈ کی معزز ٹیم نے چیئرمین پالیسی بورڈ پروفیسر نوشیروان برکی کی قیادت میں MTI-حیات آباد میڈیکل کمپلیکس (HMC) کا باضابطہ دورہ کیا۔ اس دورے کا مقصد ادارے میں طبی خدمات کے معیار، مریضوں کی دیکھ بھال، اور انتظامی و آپریشنل امور،خدمات کی فراہمی کے معیار، صحت کے ضوابط و ادارہ جاتی پالیسیوں پر عملدرآمد کا جامع جائزہ لینا تھا۔

اس کےعلاوہ ٹیم نے داخل مریضوں کے وارڈز، آؤٹ پیشنٹ ڈپارٹمنٹس (OPDs)، ایکسیڈنٹ اینڈ ایمرجنسی، تشخیصی شعبہ جات، آپریشن تھیٹرز سمیت دیگر طبی اور معاون سہولیات کا تفصیلی معائنہ کیا ۔
براں ازیں پروفیسر نوشیروان برکی نے فیکلٹی، ممبران، ٹی ایم اوز، طلبہ، ڈاکٹرز، ڈینز اور بورڈ آف گورنرز کے اراکین سےبھی ملاقات کی اور ادارے کی مجموعی کارکردگی، تدریسی ماحول اور مریضوں کو فراہم کی جانے والی سہولیات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔
انہوں نے ہسپتال انتظامیہ اور طبی عملے کی کاوشوں کو سراہتے ہوئے مریضوں کو بروقت اور معیاری طبی سہولیات کی فراہمی کو قابلِ تحسین قرار دیا۔

پالیسی بورڈ نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ صحت کے شعبے میں بہتری، شفافیت اور معیاری خدمات کی فراہمی کے لیے مسلسل نگرانی اور رہنمائی کا عمل جاری رکھا جائے گا۔

انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف کڈنی ڈیزیزز (IKD)، پشاور نے کامیابی کے ساتھ روبوٹک سرجری ورکشاپ کا انعقاد کیا، جو خطے میں کم سے کم حملہ آور اور روبوٹک سرجیکل کیئر کی ترقی میں ایک اہم سنگ میل ہے۔

ورکشاپ میں ایک لائیو روبوٹک آپریٹو سیشن کے ساتھ ہینڈ آن روبوٹک سمولیشن ٹریننگ شامل تھی، جس سے شرکاء کو جدید ترین جراحی ٹیکنالوجی سے متعلق قابل قدر نمائش فراہم کی گئی۔ معروف سرجنز اور ماہرین نے جدید یورولوجی اور گردے کی دیکھ بھال میں روبوٹکس کے بڑھتے ہوئے کردار کو اجاگر کرتے ہوئے اپنے علم، طبی تجربے اور بہترین طریقوں کا اشتراک کیا۔

یہ تاریخی اقدام IKD کی جدت، صلاحیت کی تعمیر، اور مریضوں کی دیکھ بھال میں عمدہ کارکردگی کے لیے مضبوط عزم کی عکاسی کرتا ہے، جبکہ جراحی کی مہارتوں کو تقویت دیتا ہے اور خیبر پختونخواہ میں صحت کی جدید خدمات کو فروغ دیتا ہے۔
ریاستہائے متحدہ میں ذیابیطس اور ہاضمہ اور گردے کی بیماری کا قومی ادارہ (NIDDK) گردے کی بیماری کی روک تھام اور علاج میں تحقیق اور تربیت کی حمایت کرتا ہے۔

The Provincial Health Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, paid an unannounced visit to Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) at around 9:00 PM, accompanied by the Medical Director, Prof. Mushtaq Khattak.

During the visit, the Honorable Minister toured the Paediatrics Wards, where he interacted directly with patients and their attendants. He reviewed the availability of medical services, staff conduct, cleanliness, and the overall quality of patient care being provided at the facility.

The attendants expressed a high level of satisfaction with the healthcare services at HMC, particularly appreciating the professionalism, courteous behavior of doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff, as well as the cleanliness of the wards.

A minor concern was highlighted regarding the issuance and coverage of the Sehat Insaf Card for newly born babies. The Health Minister listened attentively and assured that the matter would be taken up with the concerned authorities for prompt resolution.

The Honorable Minister commended the efforts of the Medical Director and the entire HMC team for maintaining quality patient care, especially during late hours. He further assured that he would request a special grant from the Honorable Chief Minister KP to support patients and victims from Tirah, Khyber Agency, currently receiving treatment at HMC.

The Psychiatry Unit, Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), successfully organized a comprehensive workshop on Autism Assessment and Sensory Integration Therapy. The workshop provided an engaging learning environment featuring hands-on activities, case-based discussions, and active participation from attendees.

13 دن کے نوزائیدہ بچے کو (Critical Coarctation of Aorta) اور شدید سانس کی تکلیف کے ساتھ حیات آباد میڈیکل کمپلیکس (HMC) لایا گیا۔ تشخیصی اینجیوگرام میں آورٹا کی شدید تنگی کی تصدیق ہوئی، جس کے بعد HMC کے کارڈیک کیتھ لیب میں 7×20 ملی میٹر بیلون کے ذریعے کامیاب بیلون اینجیو پلاسٹی کی گئی۔ اس پیچیدہ اور جان بچانے والے عمل کے نتیجے میں تنگی میں نمایاں کمی واقع ہوئی اور صرف 5 mmHg کا معمولی ریزیڈیول گریڈینٹ باقی رہا۔
یہ انتہائی حساس اور پیچیدہ طریقۂ علاج شعبۂ پیڈیاٹرک کارڈیالوجی، HMC کے ایک نوجوان سینئر رجسٹرار (SPR) نے کامیابی سے انجام دیا، جو اُن کی پیشہ ورانہ مہارت، عزم اور نوزائیدہ بچوں کے جدید قلبی علاج کے لیے ادارے کی صلاحیتوں کا منہ بولتا ثبوت ہے۔ یہ کوششیں واقعی قابلِ تحسین ہیں۔

🍂An introductory meeting of the newly appointed Director Nursing, Mr. Barkat Ullah Khan Yousafzai, was held with Nurse Incharges, Nursing Supervisors, and Nurse Managers.🍂

During the session, the Director Nursing shared his professional background and outlined his vision for strengthening nursing services within the institution. Key priorities discussed included enhancement of clinical governance, improvement in the quality of patient care, continuous staff development, and strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and professional standards. Emphasis was placed on teamwork, discipline, effective communication, and patient safety as fundamental pillars of quality healthcare delivery.

The nursing leadership was encouraged to extend their full cooperation and work collaboratively to achieve organizational objectives and further elevate the standard of nursing care.

The meeting concluded with an interactive discussion, during which concerns, feedback, and constructive suggestions from the nursing leadership were welcomed, reflecting a shared commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in patients care.
