🩺 DIABETES MEAL PLAN (FPC METHOD)
Eat in this order at EVERY meal
🥗 Fiber → 🍗 Protein → 🍞 Carbohydrates (small portion last)
🌅 Breakfast (7–8 AM)
Step 1: Small salad (cucumber + tomato)
Step 2: Protein → 1–2 eggs OR dal OR yogurt
Step 3: Carbs → 1 small roti OR 1 brown bread OR ½ cup oats
☕ Tea without sugar allowed
🍎 Mid-Morning Snack (11–12 PM)
Choose ONE only
✅ 1 fruit (apple/guava/orange/pear)
OR
✅ 8–10 almonds or walnuts
✔ Best time for fruit
🍽 Lunch (2–3 PM)
Step 1: Full plate salad
Step 2: Protein → chicken/fish/dal/beans/sabzi
Step 3: Carbs → 1–2 small roti OR ½–1 cup brown rice
❌ No cold drinks or juices
☕ Evening Snack (5–6 PM)
Choose light options
✅ Green tea
✅ Roasted chana
✅ 1 boiled egg
✅ Sprouts chaat
❌ Avoid biscuits, samosa, namkeen
🌙 Dinner (7–8 PM) – Keep Light
Step 1: Salad first
Step 2: Protein → chicken/dal/sabzi/fish
Step 3: Carbs → only 1 small roti OR very little rice
❌ No fruit at night
🌃 Bedtime (only if hungry)
🥛 1 cup milk OR handful nuts
