The Blood Bank at Kulsum International Hospital commemorated World Blood Donor Day earlier today!
Dr. Hasan A. Zaheer, Advisor to the World Health Organization's 'Advisory Group on Blood Regulation, Availability & Safety,' along with Dr. Usman Waheed, Technical Advisor at the Islamabad Blood Transfusion Authority, Ministry of National Health Services, and Dr. Faiza Fahim, the Head of the Blood Bank & Pathologist at KRL Hospital, Islamabad, graced the event as Guests of Honour and speakers.
Kulsum International Hospital's esteemed management including Dr. Saleem Khan, the CEO, Brig (R). Dr. Nadir Ali, Consultant Haematologist, and other notable consultants were in attendance.
To enrich the event, Dr. Muntazir Mehdi, Head of Operations & Administration, Dr. Shazli Manzoor, Director of Medical Services, Dr. Faridullah Khan, Cardiac Surgeon, and Dr. Tehmina Yousuf, the Head of Gynaecology shared their valuable insights in the panel discussion at the end.
The celebration served as a platform to acknowledge the importance of blood donation and its impact on saving lives.
