ڈینگی اور لیشمینیا پر صوبائی سطح پر اہم اجلاس منعقد

کوئٹہ، مئی 2025 – ویسٹکٹر بَورن ڈیزیز/ملیریا کنٹرول پروگرام (VBD/MCP) کے دفتر میں ڈینگی اور لیشمنیا کی موجودہ صورتحال اور تدارکی اقدامات کے حوالے سے ایک اہم اجلاس منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس کی صدارت ڈاکٹر آصف شاہوانی، صوبائی کوآرڈینیٹر VBD/MCP نے کی۔

اجلاس میں ڈاکٹر پارس مینگل، ڈپٹی صوبائی کوآرڈینیٹر VBD/MCP اور ڈاکٹر اسفندیار شیرانی و ڈاکٹر زبیر کھوسو، نمائندگان عالمی ادارہ صحت (WHO) شریک ہوئے۔

اجلاس کے دوران ڈاکٹر آصف شاہوانی نے ڈینگی کی تشخیص کے لیے ریپڈ ڈائیگنوسٹک کٹس (RDTs) اور ویکٹر کنٹرول سپلائیز کی فراہمی کے لیے عالمی ادارہ صحت سے تعاون کی درخواست کی۔

ڈاکٹر اسفندیار شیرانی نے پروگرام سے باضابطہ ڈیمانڈ لسٹ کی فراہمی کی درخواست کی اور RDT کٹس کی دستیابی کی یقین دہانی کروائی۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر پارس مینگل نے بیماریوں کی موجودہ صورتحال پر روشنی ڈالی اور مچھر و دیگر ویکٹرز کی نگرانی اور کنٹرول کے اقدامات کو مزید موثر بنانے پر زور دیا۔ ڈاکٹر زبیر کھوسو نے WHO کی جانب سے مشترکہ مانیٹرنگ وزٹ اور لازمی سامان کی بروقت فراہمی کی یقین دہانی کروائی۔

اجلاس کا اختتام مون سون سے قبل خطرات کی روک تھام کے لیے ضلعی سطح پر آپریشنز کو مضبوط بنانے اور اداروں کے مابین مؤثر رابطہ کاری کے عزم کے ساتھ ہوا۔
