*Health Minister’s Directive Leads to Inspection of Medical Facilities in Kachhi District*
Kachhi, May 20:
On the special directive of Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, a monitoring team from the provincial health department conducted a comprehensive inspection of various medical facilities in Kachhi district under the ongoing Health Facility Monitoring Campaign.
The objective of the campaign is to assess the availability of healthcare services, staff attendance, availability of medicines, functionality of labor rooms, and the status of immunization services.
The monitoring team was led by Dr. Gul Sabin Azam, Provincial Head of the Mother, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Program. The team visited District Headquarters Hospital Dhadar (DHQ Dhadar), Rural Health Center Haji Shahar (RHC Haji Shahar), and Basic Health Unit Jalbani (BHU Jalbani).
During the visit, Dr. Gul Sabin Azam met with the healthcare staff, inspected available facilities, and gathered direct feedback from patients. She also formulated recommendations aimed at improving service delivery. She emphasized that enhancing public healthcare services across the province remains a top priority of the Government of Balochistan.
Officials from the district administration and health department were also present during the visit, including Dr. Shehzad Mengal (District Health Officer Kachhi), Imran Khan (District Support Manager, PPHI), Dr. Zahid Hussain (Medical Superintendent, DHQ Dhadar), Haji Muhammad Yaqoob (In-charge, RHC Haji Shahar), Ali Raza (In-charge, BHU Jalbani), and Deputy Commissioner Kachhi, Jehanzaib Baloch.
All officials expressed their full support to the monitoring team and reaffirmed their commitment to working collectively for the improvement of the region's healthcare system.
