We’re thrilled to share a breakthrough in myopia science.
In collaboration with Institut de la Vision, our scientists have uncovered a fascinating discovery.
When an image looks blurry – because it forms either in front of or behind the retina – certain retinal cells read that blur and send a signal to the eye: either to keep growing or to stop, guiding the focus land in the right place.
This finding sheds light on a fundamental biological mechanism and opens new possibilities for innovative approaches to myopia management. With myopia projected to affect half of the global population by 2050, this discovery brings us one step closer to a clearer future for billions.
