Two types of classification exist

Type 1 undisplaced
Type 2 angulated (only 1 cortical break)
Type 3 completely displaced
Important thing in type 1 sometimes no cortical break is seen in Lateral view you can only see Anterior and posterior fat pad sign and
You can appreciate this FAT PAD SIGN (lucent areas) in this figure given below in Lateral view. (Xray of 4yr aged child)

Humerus is one of the longest bones in body. Related to this bone are many nerves.
DISLOCATION OF SHOULDER may cause Axillary Nerve injury..
Shaft of the Humeral fracture may cause radial nerve injury.
And Supracondylar intercondyler fracture may cause ULNAR or MEDIAN or both these nerves injury.
A22 yr Labourer presented with Inability to Flex the elbow after 45days of manipulations by Pehalwan(Quack) after trauma to elbow.
Examination showed deformed swollen elbow with Radial Nerve neuropraxia.

So he was aplied Long leg cast..

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis in the knee. It is a degenerative,"wear-and-tear" type of arthritis that occurs most often in people 50 years of age. Age is a major risk factor for osteoarthritis of the knee, young people can get it, too. For some individuals, it may be hereditary. For others, osteoarthritis of the knee can result from injury or infection or even from being overweight.
Symptoms of osteoarthritis of the knee may include:
1. Pain that increases when you are active, but gets a little better with rest
2. Swelling
3. Feeling of warmth in the joint
4. Stiffness in the knee, especially in the morning or when you have been sitting for a while
5. Decrease in mobility of the knee, making it difficult to get in and out of chairs or cars, use the stairs, or walk
6. Creaking, crackly sound that is heard when the knee moves
