زور سے گھرائے لینا (Loud snoring): یہ اکثر سلیپ اپنیا کا سب سے نمایاں علامت ہے۔ گھرانے لینے میں سانس لینے کی رکاوٹ یا سانس لینے کی آوازیں بھی شامل ہو سکتی ہیں۔ دن کے وقت زیادہ نیند آنا (Excessive daytime sleepiness) سلیب اپنیا والے لوگوں کو اکثر دن کے وقت بہت زیادہ تھکاوٹ محسوس ہوتی ہے، یہاں تک کہ پوری رات کی نیند کے بعد بھی۔ وہ نیند کے نامناسب اوقات میں، جیسے گاڑی چلاتے وقت یا کام پر، سو سکتے ہیں۔ خشک منہ یا کے میں تکلیف کے ساتھ جاگنا (Waking up with a dry mouth or sore throat): ایسا اس لیے ہوتا ہے کیونکہ نیند کے دوران اکثر منہ کھل جاتا ہے، جس سے ہوا کے کو خشک کر دیتی ہے۔ صبح کا سر درد (Morning headache) : نیند کے دوران آکسیجن کی کمی صبح کے وقت سر درد کا باعث بن سکتی ہے۔ بے چین نیند (Restless sleep): سلیپ اپنیا والے لوگ رات کے دوران بہت زیادہ حرکت کر سکتے ہیں۔ توجہ مرکوز کرنے میں دشواری (Difficulty concentrating) سلیپ اپنیا دن کے دوران توجہ مرکوز کرنا اور توجہ دینا مشکل بنا سکتا ہے۔ چرچر این (Irritability): سلیپ اپنیا لوگوں کو چڑچڑا اور مودی بنا سکتا ہے۔ بلڈ پریشر میں اضافہ (High blood pressure): سلیپ اپنیا ہائی بلڈ پریشر کا خطرے کا عنصر ہے۔دل
کی بیماریاں (Heart problems): سلیپ اپنیا دل کی بیماریوں، جیسے دل کا دورہ اور فالج کا خطرہ بڑھا سکتا ہے۔ اگر آپ ان میں سے کسی بھی علامت کا تجربہ کرتے ہیں تو تشخیص کے لیے ڈاکٹر کو دیکھنا ضروری ہے۔ سلب اپنا ایک سنگین حالت ہو سکتی ہے، لیکن اس کا علاج ممکن ہے
