Army Medical College is a military institute which was established in 1977 as a residential institution for imparting undergraduate medical education to selected cadets. The College, initially affiliated with the Quaid-e-Azam University, is now affiliated with NUST since 1998 and has since then also been imparting medical education to non military nustian and foreign students. AM College is located on Abid Majid Road Rawalpindi and trains specially selected Medical and Dental Cadets for five and four academic years respectively. The college, at present, is one of the best medical institutes of the country having most qualified teachers both in Basic Sciences and Hospital Division. The College is housed in a beautiful campus in Rawalpindi Cantonment. All departments of the college are well equipped and recognized for postgraduate training by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. The college is a residential institution and six hostels exist for both males and females, which are known as cadet Companies. General Guidelines:

a. 'AM College Rawalpindi' is a Facebook Fan Page open for Amcolians and Fans of Army Medical College Rawalpindi. This Page is NOT an official representation of AM College Rawalpindi and is just an off the record get together of and Fans of Army Medical College Rawalpindi. This Page and its contents are public and therefore “No official information like ranks, names of Units, postings, promotions or any other similar information to be shared. Security aspect must be kept in mind while posting pictures.”
d. No one should use derogatory / insulting language about any person, religion, caste, language, race, institution or portion of any institution while posting or commenting on posts. Offensive links, picture and videos will also be avoided. No Anti-state or Anti-Army comments or posts
f. The aim of the Page is to Share, Care and have Fun with comrades and friends. The Amcolian spirit of the Page should be highlighted and propagated. Apart from fun, academic discussions can also be generated and will be highly appreciated. Anyone can comment, post links, pictures, video or share documents. Everyone has an equal opportunity to share/say keeping in view the basic norms of decency.

Meet Dr Saadullah Ahmed, not only the youngest medical graduate of Pakistan and the Muslim world but also the 2nd youngest medical graduate across the globe and of course an Amcolian from 33rd MBBS who graduated on 20st Nov 2013 at the age of 18 years and 9 months! Today he received his degree on his 20th birthday.
Congratulations Saad and happy birthday to you.
We are all proud of you.
