In a comprehensive study, in Pakistan, involving 1,150 enrolled children, the R-test RSV Ag Rapid Test has demonstrated its crucial role in early detection. Among the participants, RSV was identified in 223 cases, indicating a prevalence of 19%. Notably, the highest rate of RSV detection was observed among infants less than 3 months old, with 29% testing positive. Its quick results and high specificity enable medical practitioners to deliver prompt care, successfully protecting the public's health. Multiple Plasmodium species are responsible for the protozoan origin of malaria, which is predominantly spread by Anopheles mosquitoes. Between January and September 2022 in Pakistan, there were 25,932 confirmed dengue cases, 62 reported fatalities, and a case fatality rate of 0.25 percent. To combat this, LDS, Pakistan has achieved indigenous manufacturing of reliable rapid tests for early detection.
The R-test Dengue NS1 Ag Rapid Test, R-test Dengue NS1 Ag & IgM/IgG Ab Combo Rapid Test, and R-Test Dengue NS 1 & Malaria Pf/Pv Ag Combo Rapid Test of the assays that have been registered by DRAP. To lessen the effects of dengue in Pakistan, it is essential to promote and increase awareness of these tests. The accessibility of these locally manufactured fast tests is a crucial development for Pakistan's dengue management. Early detection enables quick treatment and reduces disease-related consequences. LDS aims to reduce the burden of dengue and ultimately work towards zero dengue-related deaths.

National HIV Testing Day is a day to emphasize the importance of HIV testing, raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, and show support for individuals affected by this global health challenge. In Pakistan, the country faces several challenges in combating the spread of the virus, such as stigma, misconceptions, and social barriers. It is estimated that there are around 160,000 people living with HIV, making it a significant burden on healthcare systems. To address these challenges, efforts are being made to expand access to HIV testing services and ensure that individuals can get tested confidentially and without fear of discrimination.

HIV rapid testing has completely changed the way HIV diagnostics are conducted, making it easier and quicker than ever to find out a person's HIV status.
