Nexum is a prescription medication that contains the active ingredient Esomeprazole. Additionally, it can help prevent ulcers that are caused by NSAIDs and Helicobacter Pylori bacteria. Esomeprazole is classified as a proton pump inhibitor medication, which works by reducing the production of stomach acid in the body.

Risks and warnings

Generally, Nexum is well tolerated. However, you should know its risks and warnings so that you do not take it when the risk is greater than the benefit.
