Pulley exercise is a shoulder rehabilitation technique used in physiotherapy to improve range of motion (ROM) through active-assisted movement. It allows one arm to help the other move in a controlled and pain-free range.

🔹 USES:
>To restore shoulder mobility.
>To reduce stiffness.
>To assist movement when active lifting is difficult.
>Early rehabilitation after injury or surgery

Not every pain in the hip or lower back that radiates down the leg is sciatica.
Sometimes, the real culprit is Piriformis Syndrome, where the piriformis muscle compresses or irritates the sciatic nerve.

The symptoms may look similar: buttock pain, tingling, numbness, or radiating discomfort.
But the source is different and so is the treatment.

Accurate assessment always comes before labeling the condition.

Frozen shoulder, medically known as Adhesive Capsulitis, is a condition where the shoulder joint becomes painful, stiff, and difficult to move due to inflammation and tightening of the joint capsule.

🔎 Common Causes
1)Diabetes
2)Prolonged immobilization (after injury or surgery)
3)Shoulder trauma
4)Age 40–60 years (more common in females

⚠️ Symptoms
1)Gradual onset shoulder pain
2)Stiffness in all directions (especially external rotation)
3)Difficulty in combing hair, dressing, or reaching overhead
4)Night pain (disturbs sleep)

📊 Stages of Frozen Shoulder

1️⃣ Freezing Stage (Painful Stage)
• Severe pain
• Gradual loss of movement

2️⃣ Frozen Stage (Stiff Stage)
• Pain reduces
• Marked stiffness

3️⃣ Thawing Stage (Recovery Stage)
• Gradual return of movement
