The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine. Think about it. What future are you creating when you are not thinking about creating your future? What is your default choice? Your daily routine? What do you do when you do nothing?

Observe your default choices, your routines, your automatic responses. Do they serve you? Do they move you toward where you want to go? Do you like where they are taking you?

Observe other’s default choices, their routines, their automatic responses. Different, yes? This means that you can choose differently as well. You can choose different default choices, different routines, different automatic responses.

We all have stress in our lives. I have one friend whose routine coping strategy for stress involves heading for the refrigerator. I have another whose routine coping strategy for stress involves tying on her running shoes. Two routines, two choices, two automatic responses, two outcomes.

The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine: Are you happy with the future your daily routine is creating? Are you satisfied?
