Every year, World Lung Cancer Day serves as a reminder to raise awareness, promote early detection, and encourage prevention strategies for one of the most common and deadly forms of cancer.

🔍 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰?

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide

Smoking is the primary risk factor — but non-smokers are also at risk due to air pollution, passive smoke, and genetic factors

Early-stage lung cancer often has no symptoms, making early screening critical

🏥 At Fauji Foundation Hospital Sargodha, we emphasize the importance of:
✅ Avoiding to***co in all forms
✅ Regular checkups if you have chronic cough or breathing issues
✅ Chest X-rays and CT scans where appropriate
✅ Raising public awareness on environmental risk factors

Let’s come together to fight stigma, support patients, and encourage healthy lungs for life.
Breathe Better. Live Longer.
