🌟 Life continues to shine through the eyes of Sidra, the brave 7-year-old girl from Gaza, who faced unimaginable challenges after losing her arm in the war. We tried to gift her a prosthetic limb to help her reclaim her joy, and in return, she gifted us with beautiful smiles. Thanks to the partnership with Bioniks and the Royal Medical Services for making this possible! Together, we are stronger. 💖✨

In conversation with our CEO, Anas Niaz, the segment explored how innovation and empathy come together at Bioniks, from Sidra in Gaza receiving a new arm, to Cammie the camel walking again with a prosthetic leg.

We talk a lot about inclusion, but when it comes to employment, people with disabilities are still left behind. Not because they lack talent, but because workplaces and tools aren’t designed with them in mind.
That’s where the problem begins. And that’s exactly where change needs to happen.

Hamza is a software developer. Zakir teaches the Quran. Javeria creates art.
Each of them wears a Bioniks arm.
Each of them earns their own income.
Each of them lives independently.

We’re sharing their stories because disability shouldn’t mean unemployment.
When people have access to the right tools, they don’t just participate. They thrive.

This is what employment can and should look like.

On Aaj News, Bioniks CEO Anas Niaz and Community Manager Ubaid Khan shared how a bionic arm from Karachi reached Sidra in Gaza, a young girl who just wanted to hug her father again with both arms.

They spoke about how Bioniks is using AI-powered prosthetics to restore not just limbs, but strength, independence and mobility.

“I want to hug my father with both arms.”
That’s all Sidra asked for.

She lost her right arm in an airstrike in Gaza.
She was evacuated to Jordan for treatment.
And her wish reached us , all the way in Karachi.

From our Bioniks lab in Pakistan, we built her a prosthetic arm and sent it across borders.
And today, she can hug her father with both arms.

Thank you, Al Jazeera, for sharing Sidra’s story with the world, a story of loss, love, and what’s possible when humanity shows up.

From Karachi to Gaza an eight year old Sidra rode a bicycle again for the first time since losing her arm in Gaza. Proud to see Khaleej Times telling this story of hope, healing, and human connection.

The arm was built over 4,000km away in Karachi by Bioniks, a Pakistani company that uses a smartphone app to take pictures from different angles and create a 3D model for custom prosthetics.
