A shoe, one of the products from my thesis collection at Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, Lahore.
My collection was inspired by Fightherfish, while technically, the collection was for diabetics. My goal was to create products that would give them fashion aesthetics and disease relief. So the leather used in this collection is made in my lab and is designed based on perforated and breathable. While the unique thing about this leather was that it could not get moisture or water from the outside into the shoe, it could expel the humidity from the inside. The lining uses specially formulated anti-odor insocks and anti-fungal and antiperspirant fabric lining that I developed in my lab. At the same time, the adhesive used in it was also breathable. The pictograms in the collection were also used so that the consumer could know about its material while each shoe had QR codes that provided a complete guide to the shoe. The shoe in the image below uses elastic laces that only need to be tightened once per the foot's needs and will provide a margin of wear for the shoe itself in future use.
