Zaaviyah Mental Health Services, Saving 9 and Baithak - Challenging Taboos are collaborating to develop a Trauma-Informed Response Training for First Responders in the context of Domestic Violence in Pakistan and we need passionate, committed, and thoughtful volunteers to make it happen.
💼 As a Volunteer, You Will:
➡️Conduct research on first responder protocols & trauma-informed care for domestic violence.
➡️Help develop and write culturally tailored training modules for Pakistan
➡️Collaborate on educational materials, exercises & handouts
➡️Participate in virtual meetings & brainstorming sessions
➡️Provide feedback and support finalization of content
(If in Lahore/Islamabad) Attend occasional in-person sessions or pilot runs
👤 Who We’re Looking For:
✅️ 3rd or 4th year undergraduate students
Preferably studying Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Psychology, or Humanities
✅️ Passionate about gender justice, community care, and trauma-informed approaches
✅️ Self-motivated, reliable, and deadline-oriented
✅️ Strong in writing & research, comfortable using Canva
✅️ Able to attend weekly team meetings
✅️ Based in Pakistan (remote-first, optional in-person in Lahore/Islamabad)
🕒 Time Commitment & Benefits:
*6–8 hours/week | Sep 22 – Nov 1
(6 weeks, possible extension)
*Flexible hours + weekly check-ins
*Certificate on completion + Letter of Recommendation (based on performance)
