PIMA emphasized that medical facilities, patients, and healthcare workers are protected under international law, and must never be targeted in conflicts. PIMA urged the international community, human rights groups, and health organizations to hold those behind the attack accountable, expressing solidarity with healthcare workers serving in conflict zones.

PIMA members have elected Dr Kareem Bakhsh Nizamani as President, PIMA Matli.
Dr Nizamani has been serving in general practice for over 35 years and continues his dedicated work at Civil Hospital Matli even after retirement, particularly in the children’s unit and nursery.

PIMA Buner has been providing free medical services to flood-affected residents in Bishooni since August 15. So far, 4,186 patients have received medical care. The center offers free consultations, medicines, and testing for diabetes, malaria, and dengue, along with nebulizer services. Dr. Syed Ali Shah from PIMA has been examining patients for eight hours daily.
