Painkillers hide pain.
Physiotherapy fixes it.

If your pain keeps coming back, your body is asking for proper movement, correction, and care — not temporary relief.
Physiotherapy focuses on long-term recovery, strength, and prevention, so pain doesn’t return.

Your body is designed to heal — it just needs the right support.

Stop waiting for the "perfect" time to fix your back. Too often, I hear patients say, "I thought the pain would just go away on its own." But "masking" back pain with rest or meds is like silencing a fire alarm without putting out the fire. 🧯
Physiotherapy isn’t just about stretching; it’s about finding the root cause. Whether it’s your desk setup, a lack of core engagement, or old movement patterns, we’re here to help you move without fear.
Drop a "Strong" 💪 in the comments if you’re ready to prioritize your spine health this month!

Lower back pain, or lumbago, is a very common, often non-specific, condition causing pain between the lower ribs and buttocks, usually caused by muscle strains, ligament injuries, or improper lifting. It is commonly managed through staying active, applying heat/cold packs, and over-the-counter anti-inflammatories.
Common Causes and Risk Factors
Mechanical Injuries (97% of cases): Strained muscles or ligaments from heavy lifting, sudden movement, or poor posture.
Structural Issues: Herniated/slipped discs, spinal stenosis (narrowing), arthritis, and sciatica (nerve pain).
Risk Factors: Physical inactivity, smoking, obesity, and high-stress work.
Symptoms
Dull, aching, or sharp, burning pain in the lower back.
Pain that radiates down the legs (sciatica).
Muscle spasms or stiffness.
Treatment and Management
Self-Care: Staying active (avoiding bed rest), using hot or cold packs, and maintaining good posture.
Therapies: Physical therapy, exercises to strengthen the core.

Frozen shoulder, medically known as adhesive capsulitis, is a condition characterized by stiffness and pain in your shoulder joint. It occurs when the connective tissue surrounding the joint (the shoulder capsule) thickens and becomes tight, making it difficult to move.
It’s a bit of a "slow burn" condition—it usually develops gradually and can take months or even years to fully resolve.

The Three Stages
Doctors typically break frozen shoulder down into three distinct phases:
The Freezing Stage: Any movement of your shoulder causes pain, and your shoulder's range of motion starts to become limited. This typically lasts 2 to 9 months.

The Frozen Stage: Pain may actually begin to decrease during this stage. However, your shoulder becomes even stiffer, and using it becomes much more difficult. This lasts 4 to 12 months.

The Thawing Stage: The range of motion in your shoulder begins to improve. This can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.

Why does it happen?
While the exact cause isn't always clear, certain factors increase the risk:
Immobility: Recovering from a medical condition (like a stroke) or surgery (like a mastectomy) that prevents you from moving your arm.
Systemic Diseases: People with diabetes are significantly more likely to develop it. It’s also linked to thyroid issues and cardiovascular disease.
Age and Gender: It’s most common in people aged 40 to 60, and it tends to affect women more often than men.

Common Treatments
The goal is usually to manage pain and preserve as much range of motion as possible.
Physical Therapy: The "gold standard." Specific stretching exercises help regain mobility.

Lumbar radiculopathy, or sciatica, is a painful condition caused by compression or irritation of nerve roots in the lower spine (L1-S4) typically causes sharp, burning pain, numbness, and tingling radiating down the leg. Most cases improve within 6 weeks using non-surgical treatments like physical therapy, and activity modification, with surgery reserved for severe or persistent cases.
Common Causes and Risk Factors
• Herniated Discş: The most common cause, where the inner material of a spinal disc compresses a nerve root.

Spinal Stenosis: Narrowing of the spinal canal.
Degenerative Changes: Age-related wear, such as bone spurs (osteophytes) or spondylolisthesis.
Risk Factors: Heavy Iiting. repetitive bending., obesity, and diabetes.
