The patient presented with pain on the medial side of the knee joint, accompanied by crepitus. On history taking, I found that the patient had sustained a fall two months ago. I performed various tests on the knee joint, and the McMurray test was positive. I advised knee X-rays (AP and lateral standing views). The diagnosis was osteoarthritis of the knee joint. The patient was referred for physiotherapy sessions focusing on isometric knee joint exercises.
