📣 We would like to invite you to participate in the project “Anti-Discrimination Action”.
ℹ️ The project implementers are SYLWIA SITKOWSKA PsychoLogika and Instytut Nauk Społeczno-Ekonomicznych Sp. z o.o.-Sp.k. The project was co-financed under the programme European Funds for Lodz 2021-2027, Priority 7 - European Funds for employment and integration in Lodz, Measure FELD.07.05 - Integration and civil society, under the call FELD.07.05-IP.01-003/24. The agreement for co-financing the project was concluded with the Voivodeship Labour Office in Lodz.
🔵 Project objective: to support active social inclusion in order to promote equal opportunities, non-discrimination and active participation, and to increase the employability of minimum 204 (113 women/91 men) disadvantaged persons (i.e. persons subjected to hate speech, worse treatment or violence due to the premise of ethnic origin (cultural affiliation/migration), residing (in accordance with the Civil Code), studying or working in the Łódzkie Voivodeship, through participation in workshops raising awareness of anti-discrimination regulations and policies and specialist counselling for persons directly experiencing discrimination from 01.06.2025 to 31.03.2026.
🔵 Target group: Persons experiencing discrimination, i.e. persons subjected to hate speech, inferior treatment or violence on the grounds of ethnic origin (cultural affiliation/migration), residing (in accordance with the Civil Code), studying or working in the Lodz Voivodeship (204 persons, including 113 women and 91 men).
At least 48 of this group will be people with disabilities.
🔵 Scope of project activities:
1) implementation for 204 people of awareness-raising workshops on anti-discrimination laws and policies (group classes) - 8 hours per group (average of 6 people per group);
2) provision for 204 people of specialist counselling (individual assistance by psychologists, lawyers, psychiatrists - depending on the needs diagnosed at the stage of recruitment to the project) - number of hours of individual meetings depending on needs of a given person.
🔵 Project results:
1) Number of people experiencing discrimination - i.e. people subjected to hate speech, inferior treatment or violence due to the premise of ethnicity (cultural affiliation/migration) supported in the programme: 204, including 113 women and 91 men.
2) Number of persons whose social situation has improved after leaving the programme: 35, including 20 women and 15 men.
