Today, we want to thank the Vice-Rector of the Jagiellonian University for Medical College, Professor Maciej Małecki, for his continued support in establishing Przegląd Lekarski – Jagiellonian Medical Review. This year, Professor Małecki, as the official representative of the Jagiellonian University, signed an agreement with the publishing house Medycyna Praktyczna, allowing one of the oldest medical journals in Poland to continue its legacy as the official journal of the Jagiellonian University Medical College.

👏 We thank Vice-Rector Professor Małecki for his ongoing support, kindness, and the opportunity to create the journal.

🔬We are excited to welcome Professor Michał Ząbczyk as out second Deputy Editor-in-Chief, as well as the Editor of the Basic Science Section.
Prof. Ząbczyk brings extensive expertise from the Department of Thromboembolic Disorders, Institute of Cardiology at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków. Prof. Ząbczyk is the author or co-author of over 140 basic science papers published in peer-reviewed journals indexed in international databases and specializes in the evaluation of the coagulation system. 📚

We’re pleased to share photos from the signing of the publishing agreement between Jagiellonian University Medical College and Medycyna Praktyczna 🖋️🤝 — a major step in the development of Przegląd Lekarski.

The event was attended by Vice-Rector of JUMC - Prof. Maciej Małecki, whose involvement and support were instrumental in initiating this new chapter.
