Wandering around Madrid, I found my way to El Parque del Retiro. There was this huge anchor there and I began to reflect on what anchors symbolize for me. As I’ve been contemplating my journey of and sharing it publicly, it has come up for me that I MUST stay anchored in my truth and my experience and to share from that place. I love headstand/sirsasana. I like how it changes my perspective, viewing things upside down allows me to see beauty in my surroundings in a new light (the beach doesn’t hurt). But also I love it because how easy in now find it. It took me YEARS to be able to get in and out of it effortlessly, and reminds me that with enough practice, things get progressively easier. So keep at it. A little every day, and that thing you thought was impossible, becomes just another pose in your practice.
