نبذة عن الجمعيةتعريف بالجمعية:
جمعية مساندة الطفل الفلسطيني مؤسسة أهلية غير ربحية, تعمل في مجال الطفولة، تأسست بتاريخ 26/10/2000م في المنطقة الوسطى – مخيم البريج, تحت رقم ترخيص (7006) من وزارة الداخلية الفلسطينية, ومرخصة من وزارة الشئون الاجتماعية تحت رقم ترخيص (478), وتضم مجلس إدارة مكون من سبعة أعضاء.
الشعار:
معا نرسم المستقبل لأطفال فلسطين.
الرؤية:
أن نكون المؤسسة الأولى على مستوى الوطن في مجال الطفولة.
الرسالة:
جمعية مساندة الطفل الفلسطيني مؤسسة رائدة تعمل في مجال الطفولة، من خلال تقديم الخدمات الصحية والاجتماعية والثقافية للأطفال، كما وتهتم بالأطفال المبدعين من خلال اكتشاف مواهبهم وتنميتها, وذلك من أجل غدٍ أفضل ومستقبلٍ واعد لأطفال فلسطين.
الأهداف:
1. إيجاد برامج متطورة لرفع مستوى فكر الطفل الثقافي.
2. صقل الطفل بشخصية اجتماعية تساعده في الابتعاد العزلة والانطوائية.
3. الاهتمام بالأطفال المبدعين والموهبين وتنمية إبداعاتهم ومواهبهم.
4. رعاية الأطفال الأيتام والمعاقين ودمجهم في المجتمع.
5. التنسيق مع مؤسسات المجتمع المدني بما يكفل تحقيق أهداف المؤسسة والفئة المستهدفة.
البرامج:
عيادة النطق والتخاطب:
تعتبر هذه العيادة هي الأولى في المنطقة, وهي مزودة بجميع الأجهزة الطبية اللازمة, ويديرها طاقم متخصص تم تدريبه على أيدي مدربين مهرة, وتستقبل العديد من حالات الأطفال الذين لديهم إعاقات نطقية ولغوية.
عيادة السمعيات:
تستهدف شريحة واسعة من الأطفال بالمنطقة الذين لديهم مشاكل سمعية وضعف بالسمع, حيث يتم مخاطبة المدارس ورياض الاطفال والجهات المعنية لتزويدنا بكل الحالات التي تعاني من مشاكل سمعية, لتقديم أفضل رعاية وإهتمام لهذه الحالات ومعالجتها مبكراً.
مختبر الحاسوب:
حيث قامت الجمعية بتجهيز مختبر حاسوب بأحدث أجهزة الكمبيوتر والمعدات اللازمة من أجل تنمية مواهب ومهارات وثقافة الأطفال وإدخالهم إلى عالم التكنولوجيا المتطورة.
المكتبة:
مكتبة خاصة بالأطفال تحتوي على كتب مفيدة للأطفال وقصص واسطوانات وألعاب, تساعد الطفل على التعلم والترفيه وزيادة وعيه وذكائه وثقافته، إضافة إلى تخصيص ركن للمكتبة الإلكترونية تحتوي على عدة أجهزة حاسوب لتعريف الطفل بمدى فائدة الكمبيوتر للبحث والقراءة والمعرفة.
نادي الطفل المبدع:
يضم أوائل الطلبة في المراحل الدراسية المختلفة (الابتدائية، الإعدادية، الثانوية) في مخيم البريج، بالإضافة إلى أصحاب المواهب والإبداعات من الأطفال في شتى المجالات مثل: (الرسم، القصص، الخطابة، الخط، الذكاء، الخط, ...).
برامج المرأة:
عمدت الجمعية إلى وضع وتقديم البرامج التي تُعنى بشكل مباشر بالمرأة, وذلك من خلال تقديم برامج توعية في شتى المجالات (النفسية, الصحية, القانونية, العلاج الطبيعي), من خلال التعاون والتنسيق مع مراكز المرأة والجهات المختصة.
البرامج الإغاثية:
نظراً للظروف الصعبة التي يعاني منها أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني تقوم الجمعية بتنفيذ العديد من البرامج الإغاثية من خلال توزيع (المواد الغذائية, الأغطية, ...) وذلك على مدار العام.
الأيام الطبية المجانية:
نظراً للأوضاع الاقتصادية الصعبة التي عكست نفسها على كيفية الحصول على العلاج والدواء، في هذا الصدد تساهم الجمعية بالعديد من الأيام الطبية المجانية لأهالي وسكان المنطقة, لمساعدتهم وعلاجهم قدر الإمكان، وذلك بالتنسيق مع المؤسسات الطبية والأهلية والحكومية.
المشاريع الموسمية:
تقوم الجمعية بتنفيذ العديد من المشاريع الموسمية مثل: (توزيع لحوم الأضاحي، الزي المدرسي، الحقيبة المدرسية، المخيمات الصيفية, ...).

طموحات مستقبلية:
1. إنشاء مقر دائم للجمعية.
2. إنشاء مركز خاص لعلاج السمعيات واضطرابات النطق والتخاطب.
3. انشاء مركز رعاية للأطفال الأيتام.
4. اقامة وتجهيز منتزه صغير تابع للمؤسسة وتجهيزه بالألعاب الترفيهة الخاصة بالأطفال.

Palestinian Child Support society was established for the Palestinian children to live honorable life with their mothers like other children and women in the world. Society information:
The Palestinian Child Support Society (PCSS) is a Palestinian benevolent society that aims to support developed and give care to the Palestinian women and children. The society was established in October twenty six two thousand at the middle camps area Burij camp and acquired a license number of seven thousand and six from the ministry of interior affairs. The PCSS was established because of the difficult political and economical conditions at the area, that caused a reduction in the social life quality of the community. In addition, the unstable situation and unsecured living conditions made the society to put into consideration to try to control fear and hunger and the reflection of the situation on
stick hard to the goals and over all objectives of the society that might help in maintaining the good conditions of children and their mothers. Mission:
For building a civil community that its people play an important rule in the development the PCSS was established to be the first society in the area that is serving the woman and children especially the matters of free thoughts and culture The society is active in the middle area especially at the refugees camps and marginalized areas
Goals:
1- Improving the women rule in the local community.
2- Improving woman thinking and cultural level.
3- Improving the child's personality into a social personality that makes him clear of isolation.
4- Founding advanced programs to improve the child's thinking level.
5- Helping the disabled children and supporting them to find their place in the community. Activities, programs and tools:
To achieve the goals and to activate the society has a long experience in the cooperation and networking with the local community organizations and families, schools, universities, in many organized activities:
First: Women programs:
That is taking care of women, where the society has a great experience in women programs and activities and that is to put her into the suitable position in the local community through:
1- Long lasting awareness program in cooperation with the Women Health Center in a systemetic lecturing awareness information in the fields of psychological support, health, law and physical therapy. This program served 400 women and is still going on.
2- Emprowdary program for women.
3- Democratic awareness for women to defend their rights esecially the right of decision making. Second: Children Programs:
1- Talented children days: 200 children annually share into the activities of those days from the elementary schools, where the children write stories .
2- Non scholastic activies:
a. Drawing exhibition
b. Cultural program of writing and talking about their original villages.
3- From Child to child education program:
In this program the children learn how to share their experiences and to educate each others. It is important for them to learn how to talk and listen to others to be able to learn from their experiences.
4- Summer camps:
This is a very important activity for children where they can express theirselves and their abilities. It gives them a chance to practice their talents and to develope it. Third: Computer lap:
The society has started a computer lap for children to develop their abilities and introduce the computer into their lives and to be introduced to the technology. There are many children who come to the society to receive training courses on computer. Fourth: Speech/language therapy clinic:
This clinic is considered to be the first of its kind in the area that will be developed to reach all the candidates in the middle area of the Gaza strip. Fifth: Welfare programs :
During the current Intifada, the society has provided many needy people who are living very difficult conditions with food baskets, school bags, blankets. In addition, the society is more active in welfare programs during Ramadan holy month. Sixth: Medical activities:
Due to the difficult economical situations that the Palestinian people are living through and due to the difficulty of being able to buy medications, the society invites specialized physicians to work for free with the needy people and then distribute medications for free on sick needy people. Seventh: Disabled children:
The society is playing a very important role with disabled children, as the society has provided those people through working with them with the needed help and special rehabilitation programs. Eight: Cooperation with the Palestinian Universities:
The society helps many University students to acquire the needed experience in the social and rehabilitation fields through receiving the needed training into the society. What Makes Our Society Special:
