Clindamycin, vancomycin, and piperacillin-tazobactam are routinely employed as empiric therapy for necrotizing soft tissue infection (NSTI). However, growing complications surrounding the usage of these antibiotics have led to a growing need for new therapeutic options that are both safe and effective.
