🌿 Mindfulness Self-Care Bingo 🌿

Mindfulness is one of the biggest buzz words in mental health today. Most of us have heard about it but incorporating mindfulness practices in day-to-day life can be daunting or overwhelming.

I am here to tell you that looking after your mental health can be light-hearted, playful and enjoyable and it starts with small, intentional steps 💛

✨ How to Play:
✅ Complete any activity on the bingo card
✅ Mark off each square as you go.
✅ Aim for 5 in a row or challenge yourself to complete the entire board!

Activities include:
🫁 Breathing exercises
📝 Journaling your thoughts
🚶‍♀️ Mindful walks (ideally at least 30 min in nature)
🥗 Enjoying nourishing food or a soothing hot beverage
🌈 Writing down three things you're grateful for today

🌟 Remember that self-care is not selfish — it's necessary for us to thrive.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲-𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘃𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲-𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗺⁣

In a world that often emphasizes external validation, it's easy to get caught up in trying to measure our worth by our appearance, achievements, attributes or possessions. However, true self-esteem comes from within.

Many of my clients find the inside-out vs outside-in self-esteem framework very helpful in figuring out where they are at the moment, and where they want to be when it comes to their self-esteem. ⁣

It's time to share some client love 😊

I truly feel privileged to be doing this work. It's so special to be let into someone's private world, to share their personal journey and to view their transformation happening in front of my eyes.

I am just as grateful to be a part of this process as this client is.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗽.⁣

It makes so much sense and yet in a busy day or week, we often forget and we keep trying to run on empty 🤷⁣

Stop and take a moment now to consider how full your cup is.⁣

Have you remembered to eat well? 🥦🍓⁣

Did you get enough sleep? 💤⁣

What did you do today to take care of your body and engage with yourself and others 💛?⁣

Self-care is not bubble baths 🛁 and manicures 💅, it's those little daily habits and routines that keep us mentally an physically strong and well. And especially at those busy times please be kind to yourself and remember that 'something is better than nothing' - a little bit of self-care can go a long way ✨✨
