Any activity can be the greatest teacher if we pay attention and raise our awareness levels. Whether it is creating art, playing sports, interacting with friends, or sitting in silence – the "field" has many gifts for us; we just need to tune into the right frequency.

Here is what came through during our recent painting workshop with .art

👉🏻First, establish ground rules or the parameters within which we will play (select the size of the canvas + measure the proportion of paint and other ingredients).

For me, this is about boundaries. Over the years, I've come to realize how crucial it is to communicate ahead of time what works for me and what doesn't.

Whether it's a romantic relationship or a new friendship, it's essential to align within our vision (core values, ethical principles) to create a more harmonious interaction and hopefully elevate and enhance each other's experience.

👉🏻Once ground rules are set and properly communicated, it's time to let go of the steering wheel a little. It's time to connect to the heart and make decisions based on intuition rather than our analytical part of the brain.

It's time to "dance with the Universe" and listen to which way it wants to lead us✨

"Laugh now, cry later" is something my grandma used to say when I was getting "too" excited as a kid. Now at 36 years old, it's still in the back of my mind whenever something exciting happens, and I want to celebrate and be happy.

There's that fear that I may jinx it and lose it. There's a fear that I may attract the attention of jealous people, and they will send bad vibes my way. There's also a feeling of guilt as if I'm showing off and bragging about something good in my life while others are suffering.

All these fears, projections, and illusions have prevented me from fully feeling and celebrating my accomplishments.

I can count on one hand how many times I fully expressed myself and jumped with joy. And trust me, all those times were in the privacy of my own home.

So why did my grandma say such a limiting thing to me when I was a kid? Well, she lived through the Soviet Union times where everyone was supposed to be the same and have the same, and if some individuals were better off than their neighbors, there was a very good chance that they would be called in for an interrogation and never come back home.

Laughing was an expensive commodity. So it was best to keep your head down and celebrate your accomplishments in the privacy of your own home.

Lately, I've been becoming aware of how much I suppress my feelings, my emotions. Not just the ones of happiness and excitement but also those I labeled "negative" – like sadness and anger.

For various reasons, I've decided that the world already has plenty of negative feelings and that I should focus only on spreading joy and light. Unconsciously I have turned down the lever of volume on all the emotions and numbed myself. But if we came here, to this planet, to fully feel, am I not betraying the entire experience?

One of my teachers said, "it's as if we are walking around asking for permission to live.”

So let's live fully, friends! Let's cry and let the whole world see how we cry. Let's yell if we need to express our rage. Let's love with our full hearts. Let's hug each other like it's the last time. And let's laugh. Let's laugh without fear of crying later.

Why do I seek transformational experiences like shamanic journeys, breathwork, mantra chanting, ecstatic dancing, Temazcal sweat lodges, and ice bath plunges?

I seek these experiences because they help me get out of my body, my mind, and out of the tiny container that identifies himself as Stas. These practices help me connect to a much larger part of me. A boundless being that chose to have a human experience.

Why human experience and not something else? Because it’s the one where we can feel the most. It’s a rainbow of feelings and emotions and all of them are there for a reason.

Pain, sadness, joy, love, anger, compassion - all of them are essential for a complete human experience. We need to feel them all no matter how overwhelming they may become at times.

Because when we allow ourselves to feel fully, we live fully and we honor the gift of life. AHO LIFE!

I call upon my international friends to step up their efforts this week in raising awareness and supporting Ukraine.

We are living in a time when we are so interconnected that every voice matters. We can create a massive change by saying NO to what no longer serves us — saying NO to what’s harming and hurting us and encouraging others to do the same.

With our voices, we can create change. Historical change.

What’s happening right now in Ukraine is the biggest bullying we’ve seen in a long time. The Russian military is wiping our cities from the face of the Earth.

If we allow such atrocities to happen and we fail to act, this will spill to other countries and continents. The thirst for power will not stop.

This is a battle against old paradigms that still operate with the mindset of creating change through violence, manipulation, and corruption.

This is a battle for FREEDOM. Freedom to live in a safe world, have access to greater opportunities, and freedom to have an opinion and to express it. Freedom to live in a world where you can’t just go murder someone and take their stuff. If we agree that it is unacceptable to do this, then how is it okay for a country to do that?!

Take your stand. Make your voice heard. This is your fight too.

It’s absolutely devastating what’s happening right now in Ukraine. I cannot even imagine what’s happening inside of the people who are pressing the trigger to unleash weapons of destruction on residential buildings where they know people are hiding because they are not able to leave their homes. It’s a very dark time.

However in this darkness, we can see the light workers stepping forward and selflessly giving everything that they have.

Some are helping people get out of the cities under attack, others are helping refugees cross the border and find new homes.

My friend in Ukraine is helping feed the people who voluntarily joined the Ukrainian territorial defense. They are regular people like you and I who decided to stay and defend their cities.

If you wish to support and help raise funds to feed these brave men and women, please send your donation to my PayPal and I will forward it to my friend in Ukraine who’s in charge of this.

✨36✨I’m not sure if it’s me getting older or a conscious and rigorous self-development path that I’ve been on for the past 6 years but I’m finally starting to cultivate a better relationship with myself.

I’m more accepting of my imperfections and insecurities. I forgive myself more and judge myself less. I’m more aware when I’m out of alignment and what I need to do to get back in it.

This year I experienced how it feels to be supported by a tribe of like-minded individuals. I witnessed the magic that’s available to all of us when we come together to support and inspire each other. AHO 🙌

Great books help us attain new perspectives, explore new worlds, boost our imagination, unleash our creativity, cry, laugh, and love.

Charles F. Potter once said: “What you read when you don’t have to, determines what you will be when you can’t help it.” Here are the books I chose to read in 2021 that I’d like to share with you.

Which books do you recommend to read this year?

ONGOING LESSON: “Set your intentions and get out of the way.”

I’m still trying to figure out a healthy middle between “let the Universe lead the way” and “time to get behind the driver’s wheel.” Have you guys figured it out?

I came prepared for this New Years. I’ve done my reflections, I set my intentions. I’ve signed up for a 21-day Manifesting Challenge and 60-day 100-PushUp Challenge all to start on January 1st so I can get that momentum going.

And then I got covid and spent the next week in bed. Not only I didn’t get the start I was looking for, I went deep into the shadow where I faced my “favorite” contemplation question- “what’s the purpose of my life?”

I don’t have a “blessing in disguise” end to this story. Not yet. But I believe that there’s a bigger plan. And I’m slowly learning to yield to it. Learning to create space for something greater to come through. Thank you, life.

“Necessity may be the mother of invention, but play is certainly the father.” ~ Roger Von Oech

One of my intentions for the next year which I already started to put into practice is 👉🏻 PLAY. I’m not just talking about games and fun activities rather a mindset.

A play mindset. To take things less personal and instead see the bigger picture. To focus more on the experience of the “game” rather than the outcome.
