☁️ Totally relaxed and sleepy after his craniosacral treatment. I last treated this horse two years ago, after some intense traumatic experiences. Now, during my trip to Portugal, I had the chance to treat him again—and I’m truly amazed by the progress he’s made, both mentally and physically. It’s always incredible to witness what the right care, a natural environment, and genuine love can heal 💛🙏🏼

Cranio Sacral Treatment - cervicothoracic junction 💥

The transition from the mobile cervical spine into the rather rigid thoracic spine is called cervicothoracic junction.
Tensions in this area can cause many different symptoms mentally and physiologically. Important blood and lymph vessels and nerves such as for example the vagus nerve run close to the junction. A soft release is important in order to guarantee smooth body functions.
Animals tend to start listening inside themselves since the relief of an overstimulated vagus nerve is relaxing and very calming.
The “opening” of this part is an important start point for every cranio sacral treatment.

✨The Heavenly Star Points are used in acupuncture for decades. According to Ma Danyang’s Heavenly Star Poem “None of the functions of the 360 points are beyond the 11 [Heavenly Star] points”.
The same poem states that the clinical effects of using these points can be “like hot water poured upon snow”. Meaning when the right heart together with the right hand using this points health issues disappear miraculous.
Also it might be that Ma was thinking not only of the wondrous nature of the points, later described as “shining bright as the starry sky,” but also about the influence of the stars on the points, as part of the Daoist interpretation of acupuncture.✨💫⭐️

Cranio-Sacral Treatment – Atlas swimming 🌊

The atlas bone (1st cervical vertebrae) has a crucial influence on the mental and physical state of our animals. If it is only slightly blocked, pressure is exerted on the central nervous system. This disturbs the communication between the brain and the rest of the body, which can lead to various disorders in the musculoskeletal system or organs.

Instead of using force and manual manipulation on this sensitive area Cranio-sacral therapy provides a soft approach. I
n the video I am performing a smooth mobilization almost not visible but in the rhythm of the Primary Respiratory Mechanism. The horses beautiful response speaks for itself what was going on inside him… ✨

📜As a side note: In Greek mythology, Atlas was the titan who held the Earth on his shoulders, just like the atlas holds the skull on top of the neck. 🌍
