The Heroe and the reason of this post is Brownie . You should already guessed who she is ☺️. She is a female dog that has been rescued from dog fighting !!!! I almost cry when I heard that and a rage feeling arises because ai even thought that didn’t exist in Portugal . Well now we know . What can we do about it ? Well for now I only know that IRA is a rescuing animal organization . In this casa I still have to ask who was the another heroe that has done it . Once I know I will tell you ! The world is wonderful, people are wonderful! That is what Gregor has said while I was driving this group to the Coastal Way . The conversation begun with him telling me which places he has been in Portugal. And the most amazing was that Madeira was his favorite place in the world. As he explained “ there was where is Hertz(heart) felt it was his place.
He showed me the picture he took at the highest point of Portugal at Ilha do Pico in Faial Island in Madeira. Before we took the photo he showed me his Instagram account and he has traveled all over the world! So his sentence was said because all of his traveling experience. So please just go out and open your eyes and your heart to really see the world. Look for the Beauty with your heart. It is free.
As the famous Saint
Exupéry hero says : “The most important is invisible for the eyes. Those you only See with your heart”. The Camino is one of those things. Try it🥰

My pitch for the best way to star the Camino was chosen for these two lovely girls. Kate and Nina stayed here 2 nights . They arrived from the airport and the next day they went to aporto to enjoy Porto and go to the Cathedral to get the stamp. Next day they started here the Camino. Free of the airport stress and completely fresh and full of energy after a great breakfast. All said by them🙏☺️. They loved so much staying here they bought my first souvenir from Casa dos Caminhos . A lovely idea from my Friend Monica. She is an artist . So please look at her Insta and see for yourself artesebordados

The “ remaining” girls of the morning. Laurie , of course ☺️and Yvonne and Aline. Tina is a resident in her last two days .of vacation. She is loving all the pilgrims’ s movement . Everyday she meets lots of different people and making friends all over the world! As they say. “Traveling without moving”! Thank you all for the love and appreciation 🙏❤️

The girl n the picture is Laurie. She is reading the note that her children gave her for the Camino . So every morning she opens an envelope and she picks the note for the day ( today was day 3 ) and she gets inspired for the day . And she also asked me to translate the sentence that was also there “ Obrigada pés “!
This is key ! Appreciate the feet that allow you to really go and be at all places in your life . I have already thanked my feet . And you?’ 😍😁❤️🌺

Ciumenta resistente to share this group Photoshop because…. It’s a one family group : mother, father and in laws . I think it is fantastic because dealing with the so many decisions that the Camino brings is difficult to get to consensual decisions . So I hope this inspires many families to make the Camino together . Maybe walking each one at its own rhythm but getting together at the end of the day could make it easier and doable . ☺️ That s what they told me ☺️. So to check the agreement level ☺️I asked a common song to include in the pilgrims playlist And the answer was Skater Boy from Avril Lavigne . 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Bom Cami@ho to this lovey Hamburg family

2 Couples , 3 lamguages and a lot of laugh. If it was a video they were saying “ It was a good night “ .. 😘🤩! And the homemade yogurt is delicious… and….Next time I will make a video 😉

Food and memories!This lovely Girls, Dea and Simone, said to me that my lemon cake remembered them a traditional Christmas. I asked if it was the lemon flour but they weren’t quite sure . Maybe the color Simone said . Who knows . Good memories are powerful and that is a reason why I love cooking . Bringing memories 😍. Bom Caminho . 🐚💛

Yesterday morning was like that . As almost every day more than one language, more than one country. Today it was the same but I forgot to take a picture( shame on me 😩) Sometimes like this morning 3 guests were from 3 different countries but they all spoke German and the 4 man French group they talked English also and a little bit of Portuguese. There was a lady that spoke 4 different languages: German, French, Spanish and English! So is the Camino . It is a pilgrimage path but also a community . That is my reflection for today 😊

Uma surpresa ao fim do dia ! O Bruno caminhante de longa data passou por aqui e achou que devia entrar . Trouxe a sua alegria, irreverência e muitos caminhos. A mim e as maravilhosas peregrinas de hoje .. Mostrou nos uma credencial extraordinária e ficou me o desabafo a ecoar no meu pensamento . O Caminho foi tomado pelo ministério do Turismo e devia ser do da Cultura . O turismo retira e a cultura dá! Dá que pensar . Volta sempre Bruno 👍😍
