Liquid to Liquid coalescer

The K Filter Series Liquid-Liquid Coalescer is available in single or two-stage configurations. In a two-stage setup, the flow passes from inside to out through the first stage, and then from outside to in through the second stage, utilizing a high surface area pleated medium.

The coalescing elements are constructed from pure borosilicate glass media, consisting of inorganic microfibers supported by polymeric structures. These fibers are arranged in a spatially locked pore configuration and include advanced separator layers to enhance droplet formation and disengagement. As the fluid mixture passes through the coalescing medium, small dispersed-phase droplets suspended in the continuous phase merge (coalesce) into larger droplets.

The contaminant-free continuous phase and the larger dispersed-phase droplets then flow toward the Separator Cartridges, positioned downstream of the coalescer stage. These separator elements are made from silicone-based media, composed of organic microfibers in a spatially locked pore structure, which is optimized to maximize water rejection and separation efficiency.
