Digital Wax-Up for Injection Moulding | Severe Wear Case
This patient came with extensive tooth wear and a collapsed bite.
After raising the vertical dimension, I created a full wax-up to guide the injection moulding workflow.
A special twist in this case:
The lateral incisors were missing, so the upper 3s had to be shaped buccally as canines, but palatally & occlusally as premolars.
Also had to ensure we have:
• Broad guidance contacts in protrusion
• Slight canine guidance in laterotrusion
• Re-establishing posterior contacts after opening the bite
This was a challenging and enjoyable functional–aesthetic design.
