You know that time, when you just start going to the gym after a break or just simply decide you want more, then the next day you wake up, and pain is all you can feel as soon as you try to move a muscle. That's what they call delayed muscle soreness or fever, you decide not move to avoid pain or you lose the capacity to produce force, this is a temporary condition that may disappear after a week or so, in the worst case scenario this can end in a Rhabdomyolysis i.e destruction of voluntary muscle cells.
