Eating a variety of colorful fresh whole foods is best, as different benefits exist in the different color spectrum. Greens are very high in calcium, iron, and vitamins C. Orange (think carrots, pumpkin, sweet potatoes) contains the great antioxidant beta-carotene. Even white ones like cauliflower, garlic, or parsnip are super healthy, containing polyphenols and vitamins B.
