I believe that this research upon completion using FISH molecular technique could contribute to a new
breakthrough in treating cancer, especially in CLL, the most common form of leukaemia among adults.
The technique FISH for 13q14.3 deletion probe described in ~ 40% of cases of CLL- B cells and was
observed that the patients presenting 13q14.3 deletion have a good prognosis. P53 probe (17p13.1) enables
identification of p53 gene deletion. About 17% was observed cases of B-cell CLL may present this deletion. This deletion
of P53 is a marker of poor prognosis for patients with CLL.
Identification of mutations in regions above hematological neoplasms is important because these
mutations have an impact on the clinical course of patients and require appropriate therapeutic attitude
adjustment.
