WE WON, guys, WE WON! 🎉 Still screaming with joy, our Mbilima-Honey lot just ranked 7th at the 2025 Best of Rwanda Specialty Coffee Competition, placing among the TOP 10 most unique coffees in Rwanda!

This year’s competition was fierce: 326 samples, 22,000 cups cupped, and judged by 22 international cuppers, from 10 countries. To even be here is an honor, but ranking 7th? Pure motivation to keep pushing for excellence.

Fun fact about our MD with #7 : 7 has always been my lucky number; 7th child in my family, played as #7 on the pitch, married on the 7th, and yes, CR7 is the 🐐. Maybe I should add DK7 to my name now? 😂

On July 10, 2025, we celebrated the official opening of our upgraded Musasa Milk Collection Center in , co-funded by &
✨ 10X CAPACITY BOOST: 500L/day → 5,000L/day!
🇷🇼 Rooted in (One Cow Per Family):
Since 2008:
🐄 350 cows distributed to members
✅ 99% now own livestock!
❤️ Calves passed to neighbors → stronger unity + resilience.

KEY UPGRADES:
✔️ Renovated facility with 45m³ cold room
✔️ 5,000L cooling tank & 500L pasteurizer
✔️ Refrigerated transport truck
✔️ 100 milk cans (50L)

PEAK HARVEST WRAPPED, WHAT A RIDE! ☕️🌿
For 60 intense days, amid record-breaking volumes, relentless rains, and market twists, we’ve finally sun-dried our finest parchment. Deep breath, the wait was worth it!
We’d hoped to share our first lots by mid-May, but persistent rains + overflowing harvests stretched our drying capacity thin. The good news? The exceptional coffees we promised are here, and the cupping results? ⭐️ Stellar, as expected.

P.S. Northern farms (like ours!) are still buzzing with late-harvest goodness through October.

Un immense merci à pour votre soutien indéfectible envers le groupe de femmes “Rambagirakawa” ces deux dernières années. Votre générosité a permis d’autonomiser ces femmes et de transformer des vies ici à Musasa, au Rwanda.

Je me souviens encore avec émotion de notre première rencontre au Salon du Café de Paris, où nous avons partagé notre rêve : soutenir les femmes et les familles agricoles grâce à notre initiative « Une Vache par Famille » un programme qui relie les donateurs généreux aux foyers de producteurs de café. Grâce à vous et à votre merveilleuse communauté en France, une vache a été offerte à une famille dans le besoin, apportant espoir et impact durable.

Plus récemment, lorsque nous avons lancé le Programme ECD (Développement de la Petite Enfance) pour soutenir les familles vulnérables, vous avez une fois de plus été les premiers à répondre présent — cette fois pour financer des allocations de subsistance. Votre bienveillance continue de nourrir notre communauté avec force.

Un hommage spécial à Estelle & Thomas pour votre compassion, votre cœur généreux et votre dévouement sans faille à cette cause.

A heartfelt thank you to for your unwavering support of our Rambagirakawa women’s group over the past two years. Your generosity has empowered women and transformed lives here in Musasa, Rwanda.

I still vividly remember our first meeting at the Paris Coffee Show (1st pic), where we shared our dream of supporting women and farming families through our One Cow per Family initiative, a program that connects generous donors with coffee-growing households. Thanks to you and your wonderful community in France, a cow was donated to a family in need, bringing hope and lasting impact.

More recently, when we introduced our ECD Program (Early Childhood Development) to support coffee farming families, you were once again the first to step in, this time to help cover living allowances for most vulnerable children. Your kindness continues to uplift our community in powerful ways.

🌺Meet Dative Niyifasha—Mother, Leader, and Coffee Champion🌹☕️💚

As a mother of four, Dative knows the challenges of balancing work and family. Her youngest child is now thriving in our Early Childhood Development (ECD) program, allowing her to focus on her vital role as a Drying Officer at the cooperative.
With over 10 years of experience, she supervises 150+ women workers, ensuring top-quality coffee by sorting parchment in wetmill and green coffee dry mills, collecting samples, and upholding specialty coffee standards.

🌧️ The Struggle was real Before ECD😔🚶‍♀️‍➡️💁
During peak harvest seasons, balancing her demanding job and motherhood felt impossible. Missed breastfeeding sessions, costly and unreliable childcare, and constant worry about her child’s safety weighed heavily on her.

👶she is having A New Chapter with ECD 😂💙👍🌺
Now, her toddler is nurtured, fed, and learning safely at the ECD center. Dative visits during breaks to bond, breastfeed, and play, without sacrificing her work. No more stress about accidents, loneliness, or unsafe care. Plus, she’s saving money while her child grows and thrives.
