From vibrant inter Eco Club volleyball and football matches to the distribution of hygiene & sanitation materials, the celebrations highlighted teamwork, environmental conservation, and healthy competition. Eco & Environmental Clubs demonstrated leadership and determination, emerging victorious on the field while championing hygiene and sustainability in their schools.

We recognized outstanding Environmental Conservation champions, stakeholders, school leaders, FLFs, teachers, mentors, students, and the school community at large.

Our field staff conducted a session with the Keep Environment Clean Club at EP Ruhombo on proper handwashing and correct toothbrushing practices. Toothbrushing was not commonly practiced at the school, but it is now being adopted and has started to become a routine both at school and back home.

Teachers and school leaders are supporting this change by safely storing toothbrushes in each class, ensuring good hygiene and safety for all learners.

Yesterday, in Ndera , 18 students, mentors and visitors from Kigali International Community School joined our field of the program to learn how community-led actions fight malnutrition. Alongside 50 mothers, 70 children, 3 FLFs, and our field staff participated in nutrition education, anthropometric measurements, and a cooking demonstration promoting nutritious food with one egg per child per day

The discussion was on key actions to keep their school healthy and green:
• Personal hygiene & clean clothes
• Hand washing practices
• Planning upcoming tree planting & conservation
• Weekly school hygiene campaigns led by club members

Yesterday in Shyorongi, , we gathered 109 people including children and their parents to celebrate the festive season while promoting balanced nutrition, hygiene, and social cohesion.

From one egg per child per day to sharing essential items, we strengthened health, hope, and togetherness.
