The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded the Noor Saudi Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness and the Diseases that Cause It in the city of Nsawam, Republic of Ghana. The program was executed from November 25 to December 2.
The volunteer medical team affiliated with KSrelief conducted examinations of 3,212 individuals during the campaign. They provided 649 eyeglasses, performed 381 surgical operations, and distributed 2,925 medications.
The project is an extension of the volunteer medical efforts related to combating blindness and its causes provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief. It aims to assist patients and those affected by eye diseases worldwide.
