Seychelles Medical and Dental Association The Seychelles Medical and Dental Association, SMDA for short, is a non-governmental organisation of Doctors & Dentists working in the Seychelles.

Note that the SMDA is presently inactive until further notice. We have an administrative committee numbering five, and different types of members. The SMDA conducts different activities related to health and the medical profession. We hold AGM's in March-April every year, and a new committee is elected every two years. Current Committee (2012 to present):

The Ministry of Health Seychelles is calling on volunteers to come forward to donate blood.

All blood groups are greatly deficient, however O Positive and A Positive are critically low. Contact the Blood Transfusion Centre at Seychelles Hospital on 4388341.
