بناءً على جهود غرفة طوارئ قرى تيقي وجميع أطياف المجتمع المحلي، وبدعم سخي من مجلس غرف طوارئ شمال دارفور، تم بنجاح تنفيذ مشروع صيانة محطة مياه الشرب في منطقة (دونكي إنجمينا). شملت أعمال المشروع ترميم المحطة وتركيب نظام طاقة شمسية لضمان استمرارية الخدمة.
جاء هذا المشروع في توقيت حرج، حيث سيسهم في توفير مياه شرب نظيفة لآلاف الأسر والنازحين، مما يخفف من الأعباء اليومية للنساء والأطفال الذين يواجهون صعوبات في الحصول على المياه.
على الرغم من هذا الإنجاز الهام، لا تزال الاحتياجات الإنسانية في محلية الواحة تتجاوز الموارد المتاحة، وذلك بسبب الزيادة في أعداد النازحين نتيجة للنزاع، بالإضافة إلى نقص الغذاء والدواء والمأوى.
لذا، نتوجه بنداء إلى المنظمات الإنسانية والجهات الداعمة لتكثيف تدخلاتهم العاجلة، خاصة في مجالات الصحة، الغذاء، والمياه، من أجل تمكين السكان من التغلب على هذه الظروف الصعبة.
Based on the efforts of the Taqi Villages Emergency Room and the entire community spectrum, and with the generous support of the North Darfur Emergency Rooms Council, the maintenance project of the drinking water plant in the Donkey N'Djamena area was successfully implemented. The project's work included restoring the plant and installing a solar energy system to ensure service continuity.
The project comes at a critical time, contributing to the provision of clean drinking water to thousands of families and displaced persons, alleviating the daily burdens of women and children facing difficulties in accessing water.
Despite this significant achievement, humanitarian needs in Oasis locality continue to exceed available resources, due to the increase in the number of displaced people as a result of conflict, as well as the lack of food, medicine and shelter.
We therefore appeal to humanitarian organizations and supporters to intensify their urgent interventions, particularly in the areas of health, food and water, to enable the population to overcome these difficult conditions.
