[KMSA LT 1st Members Meeting Outcomes]

On the 2nd of August, KMSA LT organized the first members' meeting during this term. Almost 40 members attended the meeting. It discussed the previous achievements and activities of the Standing Committees and Capacity Building Division. Then, it included an announcement of the upcoming plans in a brief manner, which met a lot of enthusiasm from the members. They showed high motivation to apply for the most of the recent and upcoming opportunities. The LT discussed the obstacles that faced them during their term, that may have delayed most of the plans. Eventually, there was a space for members' questions who were curious about the LT work details and how they could find opportunities. All the important links were shared with members after the end of the meeting.
This meeting has reminded us of the incredible motivation and enthusiasm of KMSA members and the bright future of our beloved association.

في الثاني من أغسطس، نظم الفريق المحلي برابطة طلاب كلية الطب جامعة الخرطوم أول اجتماع للأعضاء خلال هذه الدورة، بحضور ما يقارب 40 عضوًا.

تناول الاجتماع استعراض الإنجازات والأنشطة السابقة للمكاتب المحليه
وقسم بناء القدرات. كما تضمن الإعلان عن الخطط القادمة بشكل موجز، والتي لاقت حماسًا كبيرًا من الأعضاء الذين أبدوا دافعًا قويًا للتقديم على معظم الفرص الحالية والقادمة.

ناقش الفريق أيضًا العقبات التي واجهتهم خلال الدوره، والتي قد تسببت في تأخير بعض الخطط. وفي الختام، أُتيح المجال لأسئلة الأعضاء الذين أبدوا فضولًا للتعرف أكثر على تفاصيل عمل الفريق المحلي وكيفية الوصول إلى الفرص. كما تمت مشاركة جميع الروابط المهمة مع الأعضاء بعد نهاية الاجتماع.

لقد ذكّرنا هذا الاجتماع بالحافز الكبير والحماس الذي يتمتع به أعضاء جمعيتنا الرائعين وبالمستقبل المشرق لجمعيتنا العزيزة.

The IFMSA General Assembly, held twice a year, unites medical students from over 100 countries to connect, learn, exchange experiences, and work together towards creating a lasting positive impact on global health.

🔺Applications Now Open for the 2025/2026 Research Exchange Programs

Dear Students of Batches 97 and 98, Faculty of Medicine – University of Khartoum,
We are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the KMSA Research Exchange Program for the 2025/2026 term.

This opportunity offers students low-cost yet high-quality training programs in various medical and sub-medical specialties, as well as research projects across the globe. Participating in an exchange program abroad enables students to enhance and refine their medical skills and share them with international peers. Moreover, it provides a valuable experience that can greatly benefit students post-graduation—not to mention the lasting connections they will build through the exchange.

Application Process:

1. Fill out the application template (including your CV, motivation letter, and academic performance) provided in the link below. Please pay close attention to the guidelines on the first page—failure to follow them may result in disqualification.

2. Complete the application form available through the link below, providing all required information and uploading your completed application template. Make sure to carefully follow the instructions listed under each question.

3. Applications will be reviewed and scored. Applicants must list grades for all completed subjects. If a substitute subject was taken, please indicate it as "sub."

4. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews. The interview schedule will be announced at least 24 hours in advance via KMSA’s official platforms and through the applicants' email addresses.

5. The final results list, ranking applicants based on their scores, will be shared through KMSA's official platforms and sent via email to the selected applicants.

🔺فتح باب التقديم لبرامج التبادل الطلابي البحثي لعام 2025/2026

أعزاؤنا طلاب الدفع 97 و 98 من كلية الطب - جامعة الخرطوم، بهذا نفتح الدعوة لبرنامج التبادل الطلابي البحثي KMSA لموسم 2025/2026.

توفر هذه الفرصة للطلاب برامج تدريبية منخفضة التكلفة ولكنها عالية الجودة في مختلف التخصصات الطبية والتخصصات الفرعية و المشاريع البحثية في جميع أنحاء العالم. يساعد وجود علاقات في بلد أجنبي الطلاب على اكتساب مهاراتهم الطبية وشحذها ثم مشاركتها مع كلياتهم العالمية. علاوة على ذلك، فإنه يوفر اعترافًا بالتجربة التي يمكن أن تكون مفيدة جدًا للطلاب في حياتهم بعد التخرج، ناهيك عن الروابط التي سيقيمونها عن طريق برنامج التبادل الطلابي.

عملية التقديم:
1. املأ نموذج التقديم ( الذي يحتوي على السيرة الذاتية وخطاب التحفيز والأداء الأكاديمي ) المقدم في الرابط أدناه. ضع في اعتبارك الإرشادات المذكورة في الصفحة الأولى من المستند ، حيث أن تجاهلها قد يعرض طلبك للاستبعاد.
2. املأ نموذج الطلب المقدم في الرابط أدناه بالمعلومات المطلوبة وقم بتحميل قالب التطبيق الخاص بك. تأكد من اتباع التعليمات المكتوبة في الأوصاف تحت كل سؤال.
3. ستتم مراجعة الطلبات وإعطاء الدرجات.
4. سيتم إدراج المتقدمين في القائمة المختصرة للمقابلات ’ التي سيتم الإعلان عنها قبل 24 ساعة من المقابلة الأولى. سيتم الإعلان من خلال منصات KMSA الرسمية ، بالإضافة إلى رسائل البريد الإلكتروني للمتقدمين.
5. سيتم مشاركة النتيجة النهائية لقائمة نتائج المتقدمين ( التي يتم فيها فرز المتقدمين وفقًا لعلاماتهم ) من خلال منصات KMSA الرسمية ، بالإضافة إلى رسائل البريد الإلكتروني للمتقدمين المختارين.

المتطلبات الأساسية لاستمارة تقديم العقد (قد تطلب بعض الدول المستضيفة متطلبات أخرى خاصة):
-تأمين صحي
-تأمين مسؤولية قانونية
-إثبات تسجيل
-شهادة لغة(اللغة الانجليزية)
